The mass excavation
of the Jade Signature Tower has begun! Gonzalez and Sons is approaching the
footprint from all angles with their equipment and a cohesive plan of attack.
Considering South Florida has experienced over 10” of precipitation in
the last two months, we have an amazingly dry site.
The
Subcontractor Scope Reviews are in full swing and everyone involved in this
critical task is right on point to meet their “buy-out” goals. Once complete, the excavation
will extend three levels below-grade which is extremely unique to South Florida
construction and particularly challenging due to the site’s location directly
on the beach.
