November 2014 Updates!

Jade Signature’s below-grade excavation is scheduled to be complete mid November. This conclusion will close the door on our GMP 1 Phase. The entire Jade Management Team has worked tirelessly over the last 8 months to achieve Suffolk’s and Fortune’s buyout goals. It is with a big “Thank you” to all involved that we now enter into GMP 2-GOING VERTICAL!
Prestige Concrete has literally paved the way for Protech Caulking and Waterproofing to install their W.R. Grace below-grade water proofing system. With our integrated team of field management, owners, subcontractors, and project management the weekly execution of our “pull planning” sessions have eliminated obstacles, improved our quality and set everyone on an orderly path of progress and continued improvement.   Over the next 6 weeks Capform will install over 3000 tons of steel in preparation of the 10,600 cubic yards of 10,000 psi concrete that will take an estimated 24 hours to pour.

We do not want to overlook the planning and design elements that are taking place off site. Continental Glass is assembling their Jade Signature custom sliding glass door and fixed panel test specimen for a late November NOA chamber test. Continental Glass, NR Group, project designers, Fortune International and Suffolk have participated in design and deliverable “pull planning” for both the custom curtain wall and residential glazing systems. Through lean implementation in these two critical custom elements we have realized a better understanding of the intricate process of developing new glazing systems and eliminated obstacles that will allow us to meet our scheduling and installation goals.
